By accessing and using JAWT ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Description of Service

JAWT is a voice transcription service that converts audio recordings into searchable text and provides API access through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for AI assistant integration.

User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:

• Upload content that violates any laws or regulations
• Record or transcribe conversations without proper consent
• Attempt to breach security measures or access unauthorized data
• Use the Service to transmit harmful or malicious content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

API Usage

• Maintain the confidentiality of your API keys
• Respect rate limits and usage quotas
• Use API access only for authorized AI assistant integration
• Report any security vulnerabilities promptly

Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Data Ownership

• You retain ownership of your voice recordings and transcriptions
• You grant us permission to process and store your data to provide the Service
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of uploaded content

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control.

Limitations

• Rate limits apply to API requests to ensure fair usage
• Storage limits may apply based on your service plan
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by JAWT and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimers

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JAWT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

Upon Termination

• Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
• You may request export of your data within 30 days
• We may delete your account data after the retention period

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where JAWT is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
